Karl's Kids Feed A Pet Activity
Many of our local pets are suffering in the current economic times. Owners are having to rehome or surrender their pets to rescues or shelters.
Karl's Kids Program, Inc. has been donating dog and cat food to several local rescues and families in need for several years and hope to be able to continue with this activity. The organization is trying to fundraise to purchase an enclosed trailor for various projects including the need to be able to transport food safely even in bad weather.
During the 2008 hurricane season, Karl's Kids also supplied the dog and cat food which was held on standby to be used at the Putnam County Pet-Friendly Animal Shelter (located at Ochwilla School).
